A RAT TAUGHT ME A LESSON

A little rat kept disturbing my house, so I had to find a lasting solution; which is to get it away.

And so that evening, I got a rat gum, positioned it so strategically that it caught the rat in no time. I looked at the rat as it struggled to release itself but to no avail. After watching for a while, I decided to leave it there until the next day.

How To Know If It’s Love You Are Feeling

You will agree with me that one of the most used words in all of history is the word, "Love". Love is the feeling of great fondness or enthusiasm for a person or thing.

A mother, just delivered of her baby, showers it on the new world comer; siblings show it to each other; parents express it to their children; people, for the sake of the word, can do anything to make friends happy; some people show it to other people just for goodness sake; and also, lover boys sing enchanting songs to their lover girls, and vice versa, to shows how mad-in-love they are.

SMILE AND LET SMILE

And so I went to the Fidelity Bank branch in my area to make an enquiry, a simple one. I got to the bank, went straight to the customer care section and as I opened my mouth to say the reason for my visit, one of the two agents (female) asked me to sit and wait for my turn. She would have given a simple answer to my question if I had asked, and then I leave the bank, I thought; but in other to be courteous, I sat.

WHO DO YOU LOOK UP TO?

Hello! You, yea, you; I have some questions for you.

AND SHE TOLD ME, "MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY F*** ALONE"

As a sharp guy, I made her acquaintance and we became quick friends; this was because I was told that her principle is, "Freely I received, and freely I shall give".

WORLDS FASTEST TALKING FEMALE INSPIRE US (603.32 WORDS IN 54.2 SECONDS)

The article you're about to read is one of the best I have read in recent times. Modupe Ogundare Phoebe, the analyzer, did a very wonderful breakdown of the lessons and I really got inspired. It’s kind of long though, but you won’t regret reading this. Enjoy!

There was a very wealthy and influential king who offered his daughter, the princess, for marriage. The man that will have her hand in marriage must win a swimming contest; the prize alongside the princess was the control of up to half of the kingdom. Of course, men, in their hundreds, from around the world showed interest.

ENGLISH IS NOT EXPRESSION

It was a sunny day, going towards the end of its third quarter. Segun or shexzy Baba for short (actually for long) was returning from the Island. He had gone to make some important enquiries in a company, and need be that he looked smart and fly. From Obalende Park, he entered a bus en route for Bariga.

THE REASON ALL FINGERS ARE NOT EQUAL

“Any man who...uses his own brain too little falls into the lazy habits of thinking”
John in his second year at the university was a master in the balancing of accounts, bank reconciliation statement, preparation of Trading, Profit and Loss account, the Balance Sheet (which is now known as Statement of Accounting Position as modified by the International Financial Reporting Standard, IFRS) and other accounting processes; his academic feat was known by all. But James, who was in the same class with John, struggled to keep his head above water as regards academics. Both were studying Accounting at the university.

GOOGLE: KNOW ANYTHING AT LITTLE OR NO COST

"There shouldn't be dull persons in the world anymore."

"Uncle, do you have a game in your phone?" 7 years old Ayodeji asked me. I visited their Festac home. His mom, MyLady as I fondly call her, wasn't around, so my company was kept by her two sons, Ayomide being the younger.

Drama On The First Day Of School Resumption

“…Baby. Come. Hug me! Hug me! Hug me!”

It was the beginning of a new session. Students of this great institute of learning resumed after a 2-month vacation. They've had a tough end of the previous session; they were given little time to prepare for the sessional examination after the school authorities called them back when lecturers suspended the strike action they embarked on for months over payment of salaries and some other internal issues.

Living In Paradise Hasn't Been This Simple

“There is a place I long to be, where the air is wide and free, it’s a little haven just for me…” so begins GTBank’s theme song, sung by Asa, the Nigerian sensation who has carved a niche for herself in the world of music.

It Costs Less Than Five Cents To Be Wise

The wee hours of the night it was in Ajegunle area of Lagos State. No one seems to take notice of the time as they carried out activities as if the evening just came upon them. The area bubbled like one of the First World countries that the government has since provided notes of assurances of safety of life and property whenever, wherever and maybe however; so citizens could walk freely at anytime, 24/7. The area was also brought to live by harmonizing sounds from power generators of different shapes, sizes and make.

...And The Hidden Truth Was Revealed

Jesus and His disciples decided to move to Galilee because of the rumour carried by the Pharisees that he now baptizes more than John. On their journey to Galilee, it became apparent that they pass through Samaria. Jesus being famished (his disciples too) rested by a well as his followers made their way to get food wherever possible. Then, there comes the woman of Samaria and a conversation ensured between them. This is recorded in John 4: 7 – 26.

SHE TALKED AT SIX MONTHS OLD -- FIRST OF ITS KIND EVER

“Mummy, I don’t want the food you gave me yesterday, it made me vomit; yes, that one over there”. The mom stared at her for some seconds and asked: “Ok, so which do you want?” Joyfully, she replied “that one over there”; and so the conversation continued.
